How Our Network Works

Who You'll Talk To
Bangdistricts Garage Doors is a referral service, so the person doing the work is an independent provider in our network. After you send a request, a local provider reaches out about your door. Request a callback if you'd like to check provider availability first.
Each provider runs their own business. Their schedule, pricing and methods are their own.
What They'll Ask You
Expect a few simple questions. They help the provider picture what's going on.
- What is the door doing, or not doing?
- How old is the door, and has it been repaired before?
- Is it a single door or a double?
- Did you hear a bang, a scrape or a grinding sound?
- Is the door stuck open, stuck closed or stuck partway?
Photos can help. So can a note about storms or recent changes. If the door is stuck, mention that too, so the provider knows what to plan for.
Questions to Ask a Provider
You're allowed to ask plenty. Here are some good ones:
- Can you give me a written quote before starting?
- What caused the problem? Is it track alignment, a spring or the opener?
- Will the parts you use fit an older door like mine?
- Are there other worn parts I should know about?
- Can you help document damage if I need to file an insurance claim?
If a provider rushes you or skips the details, that's useful to know.
Compare, Then Decide
You can talk to more than one provider. Line up the quotes and compare what each one includes. The smallest number on paper isn't always the clearest plan. Look at parts, labor and any extra steps. Choose the one that feels right.
You're never required to hire anyone you speak with.
